Tutorial: Should I Sell Internationally?
They say a picture is worth 1000 words. But here is a picture that is worth 1000 bids.
Pick a new country to sell in. This is a short article on why to start selling Internationally, now how. Let your data decide. I have suggested to many people that they start selling Internationally, to UK and Australia (Canada doesn’t count), and after that, who knows? One user in particular had a lot of traffic from Australia because of the nature of her product line I guessed, so I said she should look into that. She just responded, she “didn’t like to sell Internationally” because of the “hassle” involved. Let’s prove her wrong, shall we?
For a 25% increase in business she could probably overcome any problems she encountered. Well, now I can change her mind; below is a screen snapshot from the traffic of this person’s auction items. You can tell from the shade of blue that her listings are no stranger to AU.
In your own Sellebrity Analytics account, click the LOCALE tab:

Medium blue areas like UK and AU are significant for sales.
Clearly this seller should be checking those boxes in their listing that says they will ship to UK and Australia. Period.
No? Well, why not? Why are you doing this in the first place? Don’t deny an opportunity like this just because you are comfortable. If you are, that’s great. But why not make a little extra? Do a few experimental listing and see how it goes. It doesn’t cost that much to try.
You can get a close-up of Australia also:

Or look at each state in the US individually. Hovering will show you the number of visitors, although I couldn’t get it to show up in the screen snapshot.

But Wait…
I just got my auto-email. It says there are a lot of hits in Japan.
I didn’t even see Japan all by itself over there. So let me go look at Japan, and I see … wow.. lots of hits in Japan.
This seller should look into selling into other countries, if 10-33% of visitors come from there.

This seller should sell in Japan!
